Tianna Bocchoris White

Tianna Bocchoris Blanco is a gastronomic white wine, with volume where the weight of the Giró ros grape is balanced by the acidity of the Sauvignon blanc.

“Bocchoris” is the name that the northern area of Mallorca received when it was conquered by the Romans. It is also known that this area was where the first human settlements on the island were established. In homage to the Mallorcan ancestors, Tianna Negre chose this name for the first wine that incorporated the ancestral Giró ros grape variety.

Vintage
Manual harvest in 12-kilogram boxes. The grapes are then transferred to a cold chamber for 12 hours.
Elaboration
After destemming, a brief pre-fermentation maceration of the skins is carried out at low temperature. After a gentle pressing with low yield, the must is introduced into isothermal tanks, where static settling is carried out at controlled temperature. Once the clean must is obtained, alcoholic fermentation is initiated in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 13 and 15ºC. Halfway through fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc and Giró Ros must-wine, along with their lees, are introduced into new French oak barrels until the end of fermentation.
Tasting note

White wine with a golden yellow color and greenish highlights.
Aromas of white fruit (peach) and exotic fruit (papaya) with a background of toasted notes from its time in the barrel.
Smooth on the palate, with a glyceric and full-bodied texture. Long aftertaste with hints of ripe white fruit.
