We recently had the honor of welcoming to our winery Roberto durán, The first Spanish Master SommelierYour visit has been very special for us, and we want to share some of your impressions with you.
For those unfamiliar with this title, being Master SommelierIt means having passed one of the most demanding exams in the world of wine, internationally recognized by the Court of Master SommeliersOnly a very small number of professionals worldwide have reached this level, making Roberto a highly respected voice within the industry.
Roberto had known our wines for years, since his time working in Mallorca, but on this occasion he was particularly impressed by the evolution of our white winesIn his words, they are “wonderful”: they have a perfectly balanced acidity and perfectly represent what he considers quality white wines on our island. In fact, he confessed that he is more surprised by the evolution of the whites than that of the reds, which fills us with pride and confirms the path we have followed at our winery.
This visit reminds us of the importance of continuing to work with passion and respect for the land, seeking the fullest expression of our grapes and the identity of our estate.
